Mission Statement

The goal of Mending Memories is to bring back to life faded and damaged photographs so they can be shared, stored and preserved. Mending Memories treats every photo and restoration with care, as if it were our own.

I love photography whether I’m taking the picture or admiring someone else’s photographs. A photograph captures a moment in time and there is a story behind every photograph . I also love family history and have been working hard at preserving it and passing it on. Restoring old photographs allows me to combine both these loves. It is wonderful to be able to restore a memory of someone’s loved one or to bring back tattered, damaged images of ancestral family. The stories that have been shared with me about the photographs I restore are precious memories that I hold dear while working on the restoration.
